Bathbombs & Surgery & Youtube…Oh My!

written by Elizabeth Ashley June 21, 2016

Obviously, I have been super MIA lately… trust me I can explain. For the last couple months I have been dealing with chronic personal pain. It has been awful. I truly have gained insight and compassion for people who live with chronic pain. Pain is not only physical but after awhile it becomes mental. After awhile I began living with fear that I would always been in so much pain, that I would have to keep building my life around it. I was in a terrible place and I felt so bad for not being able to do things with my friends, family and especially Braxton. It really made me worry about our trip, I was not about to be on the other side of the world in pain for a year. I didn’t give up and after a few hospital visits and a couple doctors I finally found out the problem and will be having surgery soon! πŸ™‚ I am so nervous but will be happy when its over with! I thought about sharing my problem but it is very personal and is extremely rare and it wouldn’t be relatable, I need this tiny piece of my personal life because I am such an open book. haha. I’ll finish this serious note by saying with this, if you suffer from chronic pain don’t give up.

Now, for the exciting things in life. I STARTED A YOUTUBE CHANNEL! Wait, what? Yes, I know. If you told me that while I was in highschool or even last year I probably would have laughed. Since I got sick I have been home so much & 3 hours from my cameraman (Brax) which has made blog photos basically impossible. We both really wanted to start travel vlogs (a video blog) once we go abroad so I figured why not test my camera and editing skills since I have nothing else to do. I enjoyed making the video, it was so much fun but I must say I am really excited to start making videos abroad!

I’ll link my video down below! Check it out and maybe learn a thing or two!
